Mission Statement
Welcome to our ATU 757 of Lane County Blog . It took a little longer than anticipated to launch the site but now that its up it will now be easier to maintain and update it regularly.
In bringing this blog site to you I want it to be known that this has been done so, on my own time and with my own resources and is not tied in to union dues in anyway.
It should also be said that although we have links to the main ATU 757 site, it is primarily designed for the membership here in Lane County not as a way to disenfranchise us with the rest of the ATU , but to focus on raising participation here with our membership.
So consider this place or site a forum where you the member can keep up to date on events and vital union info and communicate with your fellow brothers and sisters. You can send your comments, ask your questions, get up to speed. Also we need to pictures for our photo album so if you have any you want to contribute please do so.
If the Photo has someone else in the picture we will contact them for permission to post it before doing so. This also goes for names.
My post will essentially be an extended or slightly different version of the monthly labor press bulletin ATU 757 sends to many of you in the mail. But I will try my best to not be redundant and give a fresh perspective on this site.
Your communication and participation on this site can be as private or public as you desire. All material transmitted to this site will be monitored by me, and if need be edited before being posted. Material sent to this site that is libelous, discriminatory, racist, sexist, sexually explicit, religiously bias, (etc....you get the idea) will be discarded, excluded as the site author, I retain the right to do so at my discretion. But in all likely hood if you keep it clean and respectful, it will be posted.
